Alice Yeung, Assistant Manager of Health & Safety, has built a distinguished career dedicated to cultivating a safe and empowering workplace in aviation. Rising from Health and Safety Leader to her current role, she demonstrates unwavering commitment, expertise, and passion for fostering a culture where safety is everyone’s responsibility.
Alice has broadened her scope from hands-on safety tasks to managing programs that ensure full compliance with local and international regulations. She works closely with multiple departments to design initiatives encouraging all HAESL employees to proactively safeguard themselves and their colleagues.
Leading a dedicated team of registered Safety Officers, Alice oversees thorough safety audits, tailored training, incident investigations, and rigorous assessments. Their efforts have helped HAESL achieve key milestones, including two consecutive years without lost-time injuries and the internationally recognised ISO45001 certification.
During Health and Safety Week 2025, Alice energised the event with a Safety Charter, expert talks, supervisor behavioural training, interactive quizzes, and daily safety tips — keeping the team engaged and safety-focused.
In 2024’s Hand Safe Campaign, she launched a family poster contest that sparked creativity and boosted hand safety awareness, effectively reaching employees and their families through visual messaging.
As a female leader in the traditionally male-dominated MRO industry, Alice exemplifies how perseverance and collaboration empower women to lead and drive positive change in aviation safety.
